How to Pay with Contactless Pay?

The following article is a guide on how to go about making your payment using Contactless Pay on the day of your reservation.

* Please note that Contactless Pay feature is only available with selected properties within Japan.

 

 

 

If you have previously opted in for the use of Contactless Pay upon making your online reservation with TableCheck, you will be able to complete your payment quickly and smoothly at the property by:

  1. Informing the property staff that you will be paying by Contactless Pay.

  2. The property will process your payment via your pre-registered card and you will receive a notification for the payment right after.

  3. Verify the charged amount before leaving the property.

 

 

Please refer to the below reservation payment types which applies to your reservation for the necessary steps:

 

＜A Pre-Payment or Pre-Authorization was Taken for My TableCheck Reservation＞

  1. Inform the property staff that you will be paying by Contactless Pay.

  2. The property will process your payment via your pre-registered card (used to make your pre-payment / pre-authorization during reservation) and you will receive a notification for the payment right after.

  3. Verify the charged amount before leaving the property.

 

＜No Pre-Payment or Pre-Authorization was Taken for My TableCheck Reservation＞

  1. Inform the property staff that you will be paying by Contactless Pay.

  2. The property will send you a SMS or email notification to pay for your meal via Contactless Pay.
    Click on the link to login to your TableCheck account.

    If you do not yet have a TableCheck account, please follow the instructions in the article below to create one:

  3. After logging in, you will be shown the total bill amount to be charged. Verify the amount to be charged, and enter your credit card information, before clicking on the "Pay" button.

    You may skip this step if you have already pre-registered / stored your credit card information in your TableCheck account.

  4. Payment is completed, and you will receive a notification for the payment right after.

  5. Confirm that payment is correctly made and leave the property.
