Debit cards and prepaid types,credit cards directly linked to bank accounts may temporarily show duplicate charges due to the card's characteristics.
I understand that the authorized amount at the time of reservation creation is ultimately refunded. However, this is due to card specifications and is not a charge by the TableCheck system.
Therefore, please contact your card company directly for specific refund timing.

TableCheck adopts a mechanism that automatically updates authorization every 40 days from the reservation creation date for reservations where card information is collected (authorization obtained).
*Re-authorization will no longer be available as of July 23, 2026.
The following situations indicate a high likelihood of re-authorization:
- Reservations more than one month in advance where authorization is charged twice
- You paid upon arrival and have already received a refund, but there is still a charge that has not been refunded
- Authorization has already been charged, but authorization was re-acquired after some time
Please note that the previous authorization will be cancelled when re-authorization is made.
For credit cards, updating authorization does not result in a charge. However, if you are using a debit card, prepaid card, or credit card directly linked to a bank account, authorization cannot be obtained, resulting in an immediate charge. This leads to a situation where the same amount is charged again.
The amount charged on the day of reservation will be released (refunded) when authorization is updated, but it may take some time for the refund to reach your account.

Even if a provisional amount (50 yen or 200 yen) has already been charged, an additional charge may occur to verify the validity of your card.
