At first, our system doesn't charge you yet. We are currently holding a deposit from your card as the reservation authorization (refundable deposit).
If you have been charged from TABLECHECK, your card type might be one of them;
- A debit card.
- A card which is directly linked to the bank account, or prepaid credit card.
- A credit card which doesn't behave authorization hold when using it oversea.
- A credit card which doesn't have the authorization hold option.
Those types of cards charge the whole amount as deposit immediately after using the card even if it is used as authorization hold because of the card characteristics, so we cannot do anything with this. In this case, the charged deposit will refund after the actual visit.
Then, the reason for receiving another transaction notice from your bank today is our system tried to take re-auth from your card.
Our system runs re-auth automatically 40 days after the reservation created because the minimum term of authorization is 45 days. However, our system void the first authorization at the same time with re-auth, so it looks holding a double amount temporary but actually not.
Please note that the previous authorization will be cancelled when the re-authorization is made.
If any of the following apply to you, you are likely to be re-credited
- A credit is being charged twice for an appointment that is more than a month away.
- I paid at the time of my visit and have already received a refund, but there is still a charge that has not been refunded.
- Credit has already been claimed, but credit was reacquired some time later.
Even if you have already been charged the provisional amount (50 yen or 200 yen), you may be charged an additional amount to verify the validity of your card.
*This is a small amount such as 10 yen or 1 dollar, but the amount will vary depending on the card company you use.
